ONE CONNECTED EVENING00:00 / 00:50
A person leaves a wallet and SmartTag3 at the office. On the train, Family Care shows Mom resting at home. Air Care activates the purifier and air conditioner in his apartment. The apartment transforms into Virtual Home: the washer starts, the refrigerator reveals food, and the oven preheats. At dinner, SmartThings Find on iPhone shows the wallet's last reported location at the office. He knows where it is and continues his evening.

SmartThings EcosystemSamsung Research Indonesia
Making complex connected experiences work across devices.
Cleaner air. Finding your wallet. Staying close to family. Behind these everyday experiences are device events, APIs, and application state that need to work together.
I build frontend features and contribute to shared architecture, accessibility, and testing across SmartThings services, while improving rendering performance and development tooling.

Four services. One connected life.
Family Care
Stay connected with family living apart. On the train, a reassuring update shows Mom resting at home.
Air Care
Understand the air around you. The purifier and air conditioner respond as the apartment’s air improves.
Virtual Home
Experience a connected home digitally. The same apartment reveals its washer, refrigerator, and oven in a digital view.
Find
Know where important things are. An iPhone map leads back to the wallet and SmartTag3 left on the office desk.

Illustrative product and quantities
Illustrative workflow: four metres of fabric become four tote bags. Two bags move to Store A, one is sold, and the dashboard records one sale with two bags remaining in the warehouse and one in the store.
Freelance POS · Retail Operations
Connecting production, inventory, and every sale.
I built the workflows behind daily retail operations—from raw-material consumption and production to store distribution, checkout, and reporting—across the Android app, web interfaces, APIs, database, and production deployment.

03 / How I engineer
Every interface is part of a bigger system.
I connect what people do on screen to how the product works behind it.
01 / Understand
Understand the whole workflow
Start with the people, handoffs, and exceptions behind each screen. Understand what needs to happen, who can do it, and what could go wrong.
02 / Connect
Connect actions to system behavior
Map each action to state, rules, APIs, and data. Keep the interface and data in sync, including when an action fails or needs to be retried.
03 / Improve
Improve the experience and the code
Make the product easier to use, maintain, and extend. Improve accessibility and speed, supported by clear architecture, useful tests, and better development tools.
